The Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer 'I, Nobody' continues to struggle at the box office, failing to show any signs of recovery. After a disappointing opening weekend, the heist thriller directed by Nisam Basheer and written by Sameer Abdul has seen a steady decline in collections, posting a disastrous Day 6 total.
On its sixth day (Tuesday, July 14), the film earned only Rs 0.41 crore net in India, marking a 28.1% drop from its Monday collection of Rs 0.57 crore. The film's total India net collection now stands at a mere Rs 7.43 crore, while the India gross collection is approximately Rs 8.14 crore. The total worldwide gross collection, including overseas markets, stands at Rs 14.14 crore.
The film's theatrical run has been plagued by low occupancy rates, with Day 6 seeing just 12% occupancy across India. This is a significant drop from its opening day occupancy of 29%. The film was released on 1,403 screens on Day 1 but currently runs on approximately 1,250 screens.
Featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role as Rajeevan, a bank employee accused of embezzlement, the film co-stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Hakkim Shahjahan, and Vijayaraghavan in key roles. The technical crew includes cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman, editor Ramees M. B., and music composer Jakes Bejoy. Produced by Supriya Menon, Mukesh R. Mehta, and C.V. Sarathi under Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment, the film's estimated budget of Rs 40 crore is a steep mountain to climb.
The film's box office journey began with an opening of Rs 2.2 crore on its first Thursday (July 9). It saw a slight weekend bump with Rs 1.6 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.36 crore on Sunday, before a steep decline to Rs 0.57 crore on Monday and Rs 0.41 crore on Tuesday. The Malayalam film has significantly underperformed, especially considering its grand release, and is now projected to end its lifetime collection below Rs 20 crore in India.
With this being Prithviraj's second consecutive box office failure after Vilaayath Buddha (2025), all eyes are now on his upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated Khalifa, set for an Onam release.
