The animated comedy-adventure Minions & Monsters is showing promising growth at the Indian box office. On its 3rd day, the first Saturday, the film collected an estimated Rs 92 lakh net in India. This marks a significant jump from its opening day and indicates strong family audience turnout during the weekend.

With this Day 3 collection, the film's total India net collection has reached approximately Rs 3.92 crore. The film, which released on July 1, opened with Rs 53 lakh net and showed healthy growth through its opening weekend.

Directed by Pierre Coffin, who also voices the Minions, the film is produced by Christopher Meledandri and Bill Ryan under Illumination Entertainment. The screenplay is written by Brian Lynch and Pierre Coffin. The film features an impressive voice cast including Pierre Coffin, Allison Janney, Jeff Bridges, Christoph Waltz, Zoey Deutch, Jesse Eisenberg, Trey Parker, Bobby Moynihan, and Phil LaMarr.

Set in 1920s Hollywood, the film follows the Minions as they attempt to create their own monster movie using real monsters, only to unleash chaos on the world. This is the seventh installment in the Despicable Me/Minions franchise, following the massive success of previous films.

In India, the original English version has performed significantly better than the dubbed versions. Circuit-wise, the South and Bombay circuits have contributed the most to the film's Indian collections. The film's ability to show strong growth on its 3rd day is a positive sign for its first week performance. Globally, Minions & Monsters has performed well with a reported production budget of $85 million. All eyes are now on how the film performs through its second weekend and beyond.
