On its 15th and final day of release (third Friday), the film collected a paltry ₹0.75 crore net in India. This marks the end of a disastrous journey for the big-budget mythological fantasy, which failed to connect with audiences despite its visual spectacle.
The day-wise breakdown tells a story of continuous decline. The film's first week saw collections of ₹3.40 crore, ₹3.05 crore, ₹3.65 crore, ₹1.55 crore, ₹1.03 crore, and then further drops. The second week was catastrophic, with collections falling to single-digit lakhs. Day 15's ₹0.75 crore effectively confirms that the film has been wiped out from most screens. The total India net collection for the film now stands at approximately ₹21.08 crore, with the India gross collection at ₹24.87 crore.
A Star-Studded Affair That Failed to Deliver
The film's performance is particularly shocking given the pedigree of the team involved. Directed by Abhishek Nama, who also wrote the story and screenplay, the film boasted a talented ensemble cast including Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh, Jagapathi Babu, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ishwarya Menon, Daksha Nagarkar, Murali Sharma, and Rishabh Sawhney. According to trade analysts, the film has officially been declared a 'Flop' at the Indian box office.
