Nagabandham Box Office Day 8: Virat Karrna's Mythological Adventure Sees Steady Hold, Crosses Rs 18 Crore in India
Nagabandham, starring Virat Karrna and Nabha Natesh, has shown resilience at the box office on its second Friday, Day 8, collecting an estimated Rs 92 lakh net in India. The film has crossed the Rs 18 crore mark and is eyeing a steady second weekend.

After a mixed opening week, the Virat Karrna and Nabha Natesh-starrer mythological fantasy Nagabandham is displaying decent hold at the Indian box office. On its 8th day, the second Friday, the film collected an estimated Rs 92 lakh net in India. This marks a slight growth from its Day 7 collection, indicating stable footfalls as it enters its second weekend.

With this Day 8 collection, the film's total India net collection has reached approximately Rs 18.66 crore, while its India gross stands at an estimated Rs 21.52 crore. Overseas, the film has grossed a total of Rs 1.65 crore, pushing its total worldwide gross collection to approximately Rs 23.17 crore. The film, which had a reported budget of around Rs 100 crore, is facing an uphill battle to achieve profitability.

Directed by Abhishek Nama, who also wrote the story and screenplay, the film is produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy under NIK Studios and Abhishek Pictures. The cast includes Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh, Ishwarya Menon, Daksha Nagarkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Murali Sharma, and John Vijay in pivotal roles. The film features cinematography by Soundar Rajan and editing by RC Pranav.

The film's journey so far has been underwhelming. After opening with Rs 3.25 crore on its first Friday, the first week total net collection stood at approximately Rs 17.74 crore. Despite being the 8th biggest Tollywood opener of 2026, the film has failed to maintain strong momentum. However, the Day 8 collection of Rs 92 lakh suggests that the film is finding some traction among audiences, particularly in the Telugu-speaking regions.

With a reported budget of around Rs 100 crore, Nagabandham still has a long way to go to become profitable. The focus now shifts to how well the film can sustain its momentum through the second weekend and beyond. The Day 8 hold is a positive sign, but the film needs stronger growth in the coming days to avoid being declared a box office failure.

The film currently requires a strong hold in the coming days to improve its prospects, and all eyes are now on its second weekend performance to determine its long-term fate at the box office.
