Karavali (2026)

Karavali is an upcoming Kannada-language action-drama film written, directed, and produced by Gurudatha Ganiga. The film stars Prajwal Devaraj, Raj B. Plot

Set against the raw backdrop of coastal Karnataka, the film revolves around Kambala, the traditional annual buffalo race. At the centre of this film are Mahabala's buffaloes, known for holding a record for losing every Kambala race they have entered. With Kambala having stopped 30 years ago and generations driven by revenge, the story hints at a conflict that has already claimed lives. The film explores themes of indigenous identity and the conflict between man and nature.
