According to early estimates, Evil Dead Burn collected approximately Rs 5.65 crore net on Day 3 across India. This brings the film's total opening weekend net collection to Rs 13.40 crore, aligning closely with industry projections of around Rs 13.5 crore for the extended weekend. The gross collection in India currently stands at Rs 15.93 crore for the weekend.
On Friday, the film started with Rs 3.30 crore, followed by a strong growth of 34.8 percent on Saturday with Rs 4.45 crore. However, the Day 3 figure of Rs 5.65 crore, while still robust, signifies a slower growth rate of about 27% from Saturday to Sunday. The occupancy for the day was noted to be around 17.9%, a noticeable drop from the previous day's 27.4%, partially attributable to a significant reduction in the number of shows, which fell to 1,167 from 3,633 on Saturday.
Directed by Sébastien Vanicek and co-written by Florent Bernard and the legendary Sam Raimi, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast.
